After two years of these boxes being attached to our TVs, we said good bye to Neilson Ratings today. We were lucky enough to have been randomly chosen to be a Neilson family where every thing we watched was recorded and placed into the TV ratings for the networks to gage what regular folks like us are watching. It was really fun to be part of this national project and the staff of Neilson are great people with lots of manners and courtesy. I hope that we influenced some future of TV. We watch mostly cable shows, no reality TV and lots of PBS, but only about 2-4 hours a day between the 4 of us. (Perhaps the networks will create some form of show to mirror Little House? HaHa.) We will miss Neilson!!!
