Pillows
We moved the furniture in the house around & our couches have a ton if extra pillows. I put them on the floor for the girls to lay & play on along with their pillow pets. They seem to like it.

My mom reads this blog but never posts. She was telling me about a memory she had of her childhood when she read this post. She and my aunt spent lots of time at their grandmother's house when they were little. Her grandmother had two large pillows, blue and yellow, on the floor that my mom and aunt could lay on while watching TV. (Probably Lawrence Welk!) I think it's interesting that simple child rearing tactics never go out of style and always work. My girls have pillow pets...wonder what thier children will have?
